Aurifil Block of the Month

One of my favorite things about the beginning of the year is that a bunch of new Block of the Months start up again.  I absolutely adore block of the months and even though my plate is pretty full … I should be able to follow along with a couple this year.

Here is the first block I made for the Aurifil Block of the Month designed by Heather Valentine, the Sewing Loft. I decided to use the same fabrics that I used to make the 2015 Block of the Month from Pat Sloan.  Once I’m done with the Aurifil blocks I’ll have a decent pile to make a fun bed size sampler quilt! I love Heather’s design so much I am going to use it as an inspiration for another challenge I have!  Stay tuned!
