Blogger’s Block-a-Palooza – Block #8 – Basket of Geese (Nesting)

So, I am counting the quilt I’m creating from Quilt Dad’sBlogger’s Block-A-Palooza as one of the four quilts happening during my ‘nesting’ phase.  Here is the 8th block – Basket of Geese developed by Angela Yosten of Moda Home Mom. I have honestly been trying super super hard to follow the rules of each block (this is truly a challenge for me) but I did have to tweek the handle of my basket slightly…I needed it to be symmetrical.  I also actually really like how it goes out into the border pieces. Here’s an overall picture of all 8 blocks so far (1/2 way done!).  I have them shown in the order they were made (top right is first and then go right to left…) but I know we’re not piecing them that way.  Can’t wait to see what comes on Monday!
