Bloggers Block-A-Palooza: Block 4 Gingham Pinwheel

I’m continuing to have a lot of fun with the Bloggers Block-A-Palooza.  Yesterday the fourth block was posted on Cherry House Quilts Blog.  I love the design she came up with and I had fun picking out my four fabrics.  Here’s what I came up with:

I combined batik’s with a commercial print to create this look.  One of my favorite parts about this whole thing is that I have no idea what’s going to happen with it.  Yes, a fabric list was given but I haven’t followed it.  I just keep adding fabrics that sort of seem to ‘fit’ with the others when I find them.  Then each block, I try to use at least one other fabric from one of the past blocks.  Hopefully this works to make everything cohesive.  If it doesn’t – I’ll have learned a lesson!

So here’s where I’m at at this point – my four blocks thus far.  I’m anxiously waiting Monday!
