City Sampler Sew Along–Blocks 8 through 18

I have quite a few blocks for the  Tula Pink City Sampler Blocks and haven’t shown you a close look in awhile.  Let’s see what’s happened since I last posted them…

Block 17 – I stripped pieced this one together by cutting my scrappy pieces of purple hand-dyes into as long of 1” strips I could and then 2 WOF x 1” strips of the white print.  Once the initial pairs were sewn together I trimmed it to size.  These were easier to work with than a bunch of 1” strips.

I have to admit that I’m not a huge fan of any pattern that calls for 1” pieces and or strips but these little blocks are well worth the hassle!  They go together quickly and I’ve enjoyed each one!
