Holly and a Stocking: Winter Wonderland Sew Along

The Winter Wonderland Sew Along with Sherri Falls of This & That Patterns over at the Fat Quarter Shop, or as they are calling it, a #verysherrichristmas continues!  It’s a crazy time for me right now so the way I’ve been getting these blocks done is by doing the piecing as my ‘Leaders & Enders’ for the quilting projects I DO need to be finishing up before apple season gets too crazy.  

Here is my Holly block!  This one looks a bit tricky but it really isn’t!  Check out ‘Spun Sugar Quilts’ version of the block – and she’s having a giveaway too!!!!

And here is my stocking block!  Again – a lot of fun!  I’ve never made a friendship star that way before but it definitely eliminated some unnecessary piecing!
