Home Sweet Home – Tri Strips Sashing (36)

Okay – this next sashing tutorial for Home Sweet Home Quilt Along is so simple I figured I’d share it with you right away.

36. Tri Strips Sashing

Fabric Requirment

Fabric 1-  strip 1.5” x 12.5”

Fabric 2 – strip 1.5” x 12.5”

Fabric 3 – strip 1.5” x 12.5”

Instructions:

Sew Fabric 2 to Fabric 1 along the 12.5” side. Iron towards the darker fabric.

Sew Fabric 3 to Fabric 2 along the 12.5” side.  Iron towards the darker fabric.

And that’s it!  You have a simple but different 3.5” x 12.5” sashing!

The Tri Strips sashing is to the left of Block 5 – Two Trees in my final quilt.
