Hope Blooms is Finished

Happy Friday!  It’s a great day to share with you all a recent finish!  Do you remember that fun teal log cabin/flower quilt I made back in November for the Fat Quarter Shops ‘Classic and Vintage’ Series?  It’s okay if you don’t – today I’m going to show you the finished quilt!

I had a lot on my plate so I sent it to Barb Raisbeck of Quilts by Barb to quilt it. It’s not a huge quilt but more than I wanted to deal with on my home machine. She put on a great flower and ribbon pattern all over – a wonderful compliment to what this quilt is for.

And here it is … “Hope Blooms”.

I’m still super happy with the Teal DecoFoil stem on the flower!  I just think it’s one of those great “little” bonuses that can be added to a quilt.

Barb backed it in a gorgeous fabric that she hand-dyed … pure perfection!

And of course it was super windy when I was trying to get the shot … I thought this was a cool “action” shot!
