With a new block tutorial for the My Favorite Block Quilt Along being posted tomorrow I figured it was time to do another ‘Progress Report’ to catch you up on how the flickr group folks are doing and to show you my personal progress on this fun quilt along.

21 'Road to Oklahoma' blocks made for the My Favorite Block Quilt Along
20 Churn Dash Blocks Created for the My Favorite BLock Quilt Along

I’ve also enjoyed the pictures people are sharing of all their different blocks together.  I’ll share a few with you but be sure to check out the flick group to see how everyone is doing!

Here are all my blocks so far.  I’m having lots of fun making them in different sizes and playing with different ways to put them together!

My Favorite Block Quilt Along

I took my picture and made it black and white to check out how I’m doing on mixing my color values.  I think it looks pretty good so far…what do you think?

Are you really enjoying this quilt along?  Think you may want to make some (or all) of these blocks another time.  Check out what Marcia from Marcia’s Crafty Sewing and Quilting did for all of the patterns:

My Favorite Block Binder

Make a Binder to save your patterns!  I LOVE this idea!  I need to do this for all the block-alongs I partake in…

The next block – an Owl block goes up tomorrow and a heart block tutorial will go up on Thursday!  See you again soon!
