Off to Market and Giveaway Winner

I can’t believe it’s actually happening!  I’m heading up to Minneapolis for Quilt Market today!  Luckily, my brother lives in the area so I not only get to go to market but I get to spend time with some family while I’m there.  I’m super excited/nervous about Market.  My plan this year is to just go and take in the entire thing.  I’ve heard it’s quite overwhelming and I think I’m mentally prepared for that.  I’ll only be there through Friday night as I need to get back home for the girls’ ballet recital.  (No way I’m missing that). 

Things I hope to accomplish at Quilt Market:

• Network

• Connect with online friends/bloggers that I’ve only met via the internet

• Network

• Pass out lots of business cards/buttons/look books

• Network

• Connect with a fabric company (yes – I would love to design my own fabric)

• Network

• Connect with a publisher (another thing on my bucket list – write a book)

• Network
