Parabolic Thread Art

At the last Madison Modern Quilt Guild meeting Trisha Frankland, Quilt Chicken, did a fun art project with us all. 

We did thread art with parabolic curves.  Trish did a great job explaining it to us all and I’m officially hooked.  I framed one of my pieces and I’ll be giving it to my godmother for Christmas.

This fun circle is going to my brother.

This was the first one I did.

And this one glows in the dark!  It seriously is great fun and I can’t wait to make more!  They’re a great take-along project as well.
