Patchwork Apple Potholder

Apple season is less than a month away (21 days if we’re counting)!!!! When I heard my newest assignment for ThermOWeb was to create a fruit themed potholder I knew right away I was going to make apple potholders!  

I couldn’t just make potholders that looked exactly like an apple though – right? Instead I create a fun patchwork block featuring Wonder fabric by Carrie Bloomston for Windham Fabrics and cut an apple shape for my potholder.  They are all quilted using Aurifil 2225, 50 wt.
