Pineapple Mini Quilts and the Last Day of School

We were very fortunate this year that our girls both had wonderful teachers for 1st and 2nd grade.  Even though there’s nothing I can really do to truly show how much I appreciate what they do for my kids … I can do a little something to show my appreciation.

Do you remember the pineapple block I made for my mom for mother’s day?  Well – as soon as I knew how great hers turned out I immediately ordered more kits from Fabrications by Doris! 

A week ago today was the girls last day of school!

I can’t believe how fast the year went. 

I love this shot of the girls getting on the bus for the last time of the school year! And now – we’re in the throws of summer break.  Any tips on how to get everyone to get along and NOT FIGHT!?  Argh!!!?!!!!!!!!!
