Riley Blake Modern Quilt Guild Challenge

One of the extra challenges I signed up for has been bouncing around in my head.  I’m at less than a month away from when the Modern Quilt Guild Riley Blake challenge is due (Feb 7th thanks to an extension). 

We were sent a fat eighth bundle of six different Riley Blake fabrics.  The rules indicate that we can add any other Riley Blake fabric or any solid’s to our challenge quilt.  Our piece can be whatever we want as long as it’s quilted.  We also don’t have to use all of the fabrics that were sent to us.

As I was organizing my fabric between Christmas and New Year I was pulling out fabrics that I noticed were Riley Blake as well.  Here are the fabrics I have.

I may ad a bit of solid red to my idea but mostly I’ll be using fabrics from the stash you see here.  I’m actually going to do a block that I designed for a different Modern Quilt Challenge but I’m going to do it a bit differently.  I can’t wait to see if it’s as cool as it is in my mind!  I’ll keep you posted!
