Secret Garden–an Aurifil Designer Mini Quilt

Each month an aurifil designer shares a mini quilt pattern on the aurifil blog.  This quilt – Secret Garden – was designed by John Kubiniec

My mini quilt is a bit wild … but I love it!

I used my original spoonflower fabrics to make my garden.  All of them are made from pictures I took of flowers – except of course the chicken!

I used my Bernina to free motion quilt an all over pattern on my quilt – using aurifil thread of course.  I had fun with the sleeping seeds pattern designed by Leah Day.

I had to share this picture too because I just love how you can see the moon in it! Do you like the fabrics I used?  You can buy your own at my spoonflower fabric store!
