Sew Intertwined Quilt - Stockholm Fabrics by Robin Singone

A Quilt Along put on by Sew Bittersweet Designs and SewHappyGeek

Today I’m going to pick out some fabric from Fabrics N Quilts that would look great in the ‘Sew Intertwined Quilt Along’ being put on by my friend Melissa of Sew Bittersweet Designs and SewHappyGeek.  I haven’t pulled fabric from my stash for this quilt along yet so I figured I’d do a little ‘Virtual Window Shopping’ for some inspiration.  I hope this gets your brain turning too and you decide to join in the quilt along fun!

Fabric Requirements –

Fabric 1: 2/3 yard (orange in image above)

violet

Dot – Lavendar Micro DotFabric 2: 2/3 yards (green in image above)

green

Duquesa II Green BlocksFabric 3: 2/3 yards (pink in image above)

ruby

Fabric 4: 2/3 yards (leaf in image above)

sublime grey

Fabric 5: 2/3 yards (multi colored in image above)

peach

Fabric 6: 1 yard (Daisy Janie Grey Print)

stone

Modascapes Stone Wall Grey This fabric is a lot darker than the rest of the fabrics.  By using this darker fabric it’s going to really pull focus more to the ‘background’ of this quilt.  Sometimes this is a really need effect that creates a completely different quilt.

Fabric 7 – Background: 2 yard cut (solid)

paisley

I never decide on borders and bindings until my quilt is pieced so I’m not going to tell you what to use right now.  I would order a bit extra of the fabrics and then you can usually come up with a border from that.
