Variable Star Album/Autograph Block by Nancy Scott – Block 2 of the Old School Block of the Month

Hello everyone! Happy February 12th! The 12th in 2021 is a very special day every month because a new block for the Old School BOM 2021 is released. If you missed all the beginning info you can find out all about this Block of the Month HERE.

I’m thrilled to have Nancy Scott from Masterpiece Quilting as the designer for February.

Nancy shared with us this how to make a Variable Star Block with an Album/Autograph variation. You can see the whole tutorial by heading over to Nancy’s blog post HERE.

I made my Variable Star with Album/Autograph variation. I did use a printed fabric but it’s very light so if I decide to write or add anything to the center it should still be easy to see. I’m pondering a possible applique addition of “#OSBOM” but I’m not quite sure yet. I’ll keep you posted if I decide to add anything to the center.
