Wanderlust in Fableism - a Quilt Finish

I realized after I posted the Fableism Bearpaw quilt I made for my daughter Capri, I never did an actual post to show off the Wanderlust quilt I made for my oldest daughter, Mercedi, last year. This one also features Fableism fabric ... it might be a theme. We'll see if it lasts a few more years when my youngest is graduating.

Here it is! This quilt pattern is called Wanderlust and it's one of my own. Now, before you go frantically searching for it so you can make it too, I have to admit that I haven't actually written the pattern yet.

I have made two versions of this quilt so far though so I'm getting closer to the next step of drawing up the the pattern.

The majority of this quilt is made with Fableism fabric. I just adore it and love how soft it is and how well it works in a quilt. I'm not going to lie, it's not the easiest to piece with but if you use starch and are patient it is worth it!

Kim Van Etten did a beautiful job quilting this one.

Not only does the Fableism make this super cozy but a beautiful cuddle back seriously makes this quilt dreamy to snuggle under!
I'm realizing that i haven't done proper blog posts on a bunch of the quilts I've finished - I've just posted them on instagram. Let me know if you're interested in more "finished" quilt posts and I'll move that up on my priority list.
