Winter Mug Mini Quilt

This summer I participated in the Winter Wonderland Sew Along with Sherri Falls of This & That Patterns over at the Fat Quarter Shop, or as they called it, a #verysherrichristmas.  I wasn’t 100% sure what I was going to do with these adorable blocks I made.

I finally decided on fun little mini quilt – at least for some of the block.  Here’s my steaming mug of hot cocoa!  I used iridescentiCraft Deco Foil for the steam coming from the pieced mug.

I just love the little bit of shimmer it adds!  I did put a hanging sleeve on this little mini but it would be perfect as a table topper too.  Just a fun little finish to stare with you today! Linking to Finish It Up Friday.
