CHALLENGE 11.6
Vibrant & Vivacious
Things are a little shaky in the world right now, and we could all use a little vibrance. Some innocent wow factor. Oh hell, let’s be honest: many of us actually would love to lean on a freaking LOT of color and zing in the days to come.
So let’s use this as an opportunity for some jaw-dropping, eye-popping color. I’m asking that your project this week be bright – think crayon basics, macaw birds, fields of flowers, or the rainbow! I want to see day-glow, eye-popping combinations to create a bright today and show just how bright the future will be.
Your project must use bright colors in wild combinations.
Your project does not need to be a traditional quilt but must meet at least one of these requirements: include patchwork, include appliqué, have 3 layers stitched together by hand or machine.
There is no size limit – make it as big or little as you want.
Each piece must stand alone as DONE to count toward prizes. Incomplete or unfinished does not qualify.
You have one week to meet the challenge. Every challenge piece must be a FINISHED project seen through from INCEPTION to COMPLETION during the challenge timeline – that is, started on or after March 15, 2020, and posted by noon Central March 22, 2020.
