Clue 2 of the 3rd Annual Project QUILTING Mystery Quilt Along

Do you want to build a snowball!? Well – today that’s what we’re doing for Clue 2 of the 3rd Annual Project QUILTING Mystery Quilt Along! We’re building four snowball blocks actually!

Step 2

Cut

Fabric 2

(4) – 4.5″ x 4.5″ squares

Fabric 4a

(8) – 1.5″ x 1.5″ squares

Fabric 6

(8) – 1.5″ x 1.5″ squares

Layout

On two Fabric 4a squares and two Fabric 6 squares draw a diagonal line on the wrong side of the fabric. Place the squares right sides together onto the corners of a Fabric 2 square.

Stitch on the diagonal line drawn. Do this for all four Fabric 2 squares.

Trim off the corners outside the stitch line.

Press towards fabrics 4a and 6. These will measure 4.5″ square when you’re finished and you will need four of them.

Stop back tomorrow at noon CST to see what clue 3 is!
