Snail, I Love You

A friend I’ve made over the years through Project QUILTING and the Focus Through the Prism Challenge, Becky Grover, recently had her illustrations published in a children’s book “Snail, I Love You.”

Now available! “Snail, I Love You” is a 32-page, full-color picture book written by Tevah Platt and Willa Thiel, and illustrated by Becky Grover.

This long, nerdy love poem was co-written by a mom and daughter, who contributed  between ages 3 and 6.  With quilt art illustrations by fabric artist Becky Grover, this book celebrates the whole universe and the fundamental force of love.

The entire book is illustrated using quilt art that Becky designed and created.  At the end of the story a picture of the overall quilt is shown and you see how each of the illustrations all come together into one beautiful quilt.

I read this with my 7 year old daughter, Pip, and she is absolutely enthralled by the illustrations and delighted by the story.
